Uros Islands – Taquile full day

Taquile Island is another of the Andean peoples maintaining their ancestral traditions, across Lake Titicaca from Puno trip to that locality is performed in both speedboats as normal in approximate times of 1 hour and 2 hours, respectively.

The inhabitants of the island of Taquile wear colorful traditional costumes made in the aforementioned island, they speak Quechua and Aymara language.

Across Lake Titicaca we sail on motorized boats for interval 2 hours, in route during navigation our first stop is inevitable on the islands of Uros.

It is noteworthy that the spinning and weaving handicrafts are made primarily by men and women. The visit will be an average of 2 hours and 1 hour will have to taste a delicious typical lunch, if you really want to be part of this community, you can collaborate voluntarily by buying some of their crafts.
