Llachon Cultural

The town center of Llachón is located 75 km (46.6 miles) from the city of Puno, with an approximate time of 1 hour and 45 minutes by land, asphalted road to Capachica and affirmed to Llachón and 2 hours lacustrine. The Quechua community of Llachón groups 1,330 peoples belonging to 280 families.

More than fifty beds are available, distributed in the homes of families. The rooms are warm, sheltered, simple, where the simple furniture and the furniture are made exclusively of materials of the zone (stick ledges, curtains of Totora and blankets woven by the commoners).

Through the window of any room it is possible to appreciate the spectacular lake landscape and we recommend to appreciate it especially at sunrise and at the time of the fall of the sun. The natural landscape is enriched with the view of the mountains full of pre Inca terraces and the eucalyptus groves surrounding the community. This is the scenario where the commoners live where they cultivate, fish, weave and do housework.

Live together with us unique experiences through our service of experiential tourism with the communities, we organize packages of tourist service according to the amount of days that you would love to live together with the population.
